Charlotte's Cove
by Scott T. Barnes
(fantasy)
Mary Ann and Sally are an odd couple, with Sally, at 14, five years older and a tomboy, besides. But Mary Ann is fascinated by Sally's confidence - and, despite her shyness, by the Ghost Lady that Sally loves to visit, whom Mary Ann would never have visited otherwise. But with the Ghost Lady's dark stories, and with Sally and the Ghost Lady both reading bad omens, things are rapidly getting too dark for Mary Ann.
